♡ Dear Diary, ♡
It’s currently 7:20 AM and it’s raining outside, and it is sooo nice and peaceful. 🌧️
This is what our state needs. WATERRRR! ☔️ AZ is so hot that we beg for rain, meanwhile there are other states wishing it would stop raining.
I loveee the smell of rain, the sound of rain, and especially how it makes our skies look. Everything feels a little softer when it rains. And the fresh wind??? Finally!! Instead of the dry, dusty wind we normally get, we get that cool, clean, rainy air that makes you want to open every window and just sit there listening to it. The desert looks a little happier today. 🌵
My husband doesn’t normally work on rainy days unless it’s light rain and there’s no lightning or thunderstorms, but today they still asked him to go in. And when he arrived… they basically sent them home. 💀 Of course.
BUT the good thing about all of this is that he asked if I wanted anything from Dutch and you BETTER BELIEVE I ordered myself an iced coffee. 😋☕️
An iced Golden Eagle with sweet cream and banana soft top because apparently I have decided that today is a little treat day. I deserve it. 🙈
So now I’m sitting here, listening to the rain, waiting for my coffee, and enjoying this little quiet moment before the day really starts.
Sometimes the little things really are the best things. ♡
